Step up when your community needs you the most.
When a disaster impacts your community, you can be ready to provide the support your neighbors need to begin to recover. From shelter work and helping to distribute supplies to providing comfort and delivering disaster preparedness education, there’s a role for you in your community.
Help save lives with every shift.
Volunteering with Red Cross Blood Services means that you’re making a real difference every day. Whether you welcome donors and help them check in, deliver blood to hospitals, or even help screen potential blood donors, you’ll make an impact on our life-saving mission.
Volunteer to support military families.
Support military members and their families by volunteering with the Red Cross’ Service to the Armed Forces department. Your work can provide care and comfort for those at home and abroad, with a variety of positions available, from programming support to volunteering in a local Military Treatment Facility (MTF) to special event support. No matter the way you serve, you can stand proud knowing you made a difference in the lives of those who serve us all.
Making a difference doesn’t have an age requirement. If you’re a passionate youth or young adult ready to be a positive change in your community, volunteering with the Red Cross is the perfect opportunity.
Contribute to the American Red Cross mission by donating. Whether it’s a one-time donation, a recurring monthly gift, or through another avenue, your financial support will help people across the country.
Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, from accident and trauma patients to those battling cancer. Donating blood through a blood drive near you or a local blood donation center can save lives.
The American Red Cross has many classes, trainings, and certifications for both individuals and organizations. Learn CPR, first aid, swimming and water safety, and other lifesaving skills both online and in person.
You can save hundreds of lives by hosting a blood drive. Bring together your community, uplift your organization, show leadership expertise, and, most importantly, ensure that patients are able to receive the lifesaving blood they need.
